Montecito Motorworks is a California-based boutique automotive dealership targeted to vintage car enthusiasts looking to purchase custom-designed and refurbished models. The brand identity is designed to feel approachable to first-time buyers who value trustworthy service just as much as product quality.
Logo Sketches
The goal of the logo is to feel design-fluent in the automotive industry while also pulling from visual elements of California and racing. Several early logo sketches incorporated crossed racing flags doubling as a reference to California’s mountains, while the final design incorporates a single star, similar to the California state flag.
